Requesting a quote from Unity

Get your game localized faster in Unity using the Dialogue System (from version 2.2.29) by Pixel Crushers.

The Dialogue System supports language localization for dialogue databases. Adding your translations to the localized fields in the Dialogue Editor is quite simple; however, translation errors are very likely during this process if you are not an experienced linguist.

Alocai provides full services throughout the localization workflow powered by our management platform, our communication tools, and ModelWiz™, our own machine translation system built with specific game terminology and data.

Here's how to request a localization quote from Alocai through the Dialogue System in Unity

1. Open the Dialogue Editor

2. On the Database tab, expand the Localization Export/Import foldout.

3. Click the + and add all the target language you need

4. Click the Localization Services button

5. Select Get localized by Alocai

6. Click Continue

7. An Alocai page including your exported files will open in your browser

💭 If you decide to remove your files and add the word count in the instructions, a Project Manager will request the files at a later stage in order to provide an accurate quote.

8. Complete your request information and your personal information

9. Click the Send request button

A project manager will work through the details and contact you within 24 hours with a quote.

Import the localized files in Unity

Once the project manager delivers the localized files, you only need to go back to the Dialogue Editor to import them back into your dialogue database.
