Query Follow-up

Once a query has been completed, you may also have follow-up comments related to the query and/or the answer.

We have implemented a two-tier approval process, meaning that the project leaders will have to approve any follow-up comment from linguists going to the game developer/publisher. Users from the language service provider assigning you localization jobs can approve or decline follow-up messages.

1. Go to the completed query

2. Scroll down to the Follow up module

3. Add your message

Please make sure that the follow-up message is relevant. You should avoid long conversations in this module. Remember that you can use the Chat rooms to discuss anything else.

For follow-up messages submitted by another users, you will see a notification on (1) the sidebar menu indicating the project name and query ID. Click on the notification and the query will open in a new tab.

Queries in the queries list that have new follow-up comments will have notifications on the comment bubble icon (2).

💭 The notification remains as “unread” until you click on it and until you scroll down on the Query Details page to position the screen on the Follow-Up module. That way we ensure that you see the new follow-up comment.
