Register on Alocai

Register as a Freelance/agency if you are a freelancer (a translator, an editor or a tester) or you are an agency collaborating on various localization jobs assigned by another language service provider.

1. Go to https://platform.alocai.com/#/login and click Create an account.

2. Select to register as a Vendor Portal and click Next.

πŸ’­ Agencies! Do not create an account if your company is already registered. Instead, please contact the Admin user and ask them to add you.

3. Complete your company and user information according to your role:

A freelance

  • Add your full name [Important: Please do not use nicknames or abbreviations]
  • Add your email
  • Add your company name . If you don't have a company, add your name as the company name.

An agency

If you are an agency collaborating on various localization jobs assigned by another LSP, please repeat your company name in the Name field. That will help the project manager to identify you faster.

4. Provide the name of the language service provider that invited you to join on Alocai and click Next.

This is the company of the project manager assigning to you linguistic tasks.

5. You will receive a confirmation email to set your password.

πŸ’­ Review your spam or junk folder.

6. Login to the platform with your credentials.

You will arrive at the Projects page. The page will look empty at first, but you will see the projects you are collaborating on as soon as the project manager adds you to them.

After completing the steps, you can now inform your Linguistic Coordinator that you have successfully created an account.

Note that you will register one account for your business. That means that you will be the Admin user and your team members (for agencies), should be invited by you instead of registering the same as you do.

User account

You can access your user account and edit your user information at any time. Please always keep your Name and Last name updated.

For agencies β€” Manage Users

πŸ’­ Only the Admin user can edit this page.

If you want to add more accounts managed by you or more users on Alocai, consider these user roles:

Specialist Admin β€” This user creates the account. This user can add more accounts within the company account (+Add user button) and can be assigned to jobs and projects.

Resource β€” This user can be assigned to jobs and projects.

Add and activate accounts

For agencies, the Specialist Admin user can add more accounts, for example if you have several accounts for your CAT tools and vendor manager. Alocai will send an email confirming the registration.

πŸ’­ You cannot add several accounts using the same email.

When you add a new account, don’t forget to activate it to make it visible to your vendor manager. You can do this by clicking on the toggle from the list.

πŸ’­ Always add names that help your vendor manager and coordinator identify your company and language.
